Give. Get. Repeat.

The shampoo cycle (Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Get it?)

Here’s how it works:

Have You Been Helped? Have You Helped Another? Share Your Story.

We want to hear your story. The lives you have touched, the smiles you have made, the impressions you have left behind. Share your story in your own words.

Ends of Earth, See Where it Spreads.

See how far it spreads. Will it stop with you?

What is the Matthew6Movement?

It’s a model of how to live life. Will it change the world? That’s up to you. Can it change a life? Absolutely. Now don’t get us wrong, this is not a ministry. We don’t want to take a few verses from the Bible and act like it’s a calling. We are hoping to compel others to live with a mindset to love others. The teaching of Matthew 6 is a pretty good model of a great way to live our lives in community with others.

And it’s simple.

Buy a cup of coffee, gas, large tip, lay away payoff, send a random gift, an act of service. Anything that shows caring for another. Just do it anonymously. Leave a M6M card you can print below. It’s an easy model to follow to keep the movement’s momentum going.

SPREAD THE MOVEMENT: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

Matthew6Movement is Anonymous

As Matthew 6:3 says, “don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing” and to give anonymously.

Motives are important. We want your motivation to be love for your fellow man. We want your motivation to be “because He first loved us”. No matter our circumstance, we are blessed by our savior, let’s be a blessing for others.

Print your cards above. Give away a card. Let’s see how far this can spread!

It is anonymous, but we do want to hear your story. Whether you’ve received a gift, or given, please tell your story (anonymously).

Matthew6Movement is Kingdom Investing

“But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6: 20-21

By doing even a small amount of good for someone else, you’re investing in something much bigger than yourself and the other person. Will participating in this movement get you to heaven. Of course not. We are all sinners. No one is good, not one. We can do nothing to earn God’s favor, but the price has already been paid. Shouldn’t that compel us to love on others? By loving others, are we not investing in God’s kingdom?

Joining the Matthew6movement is not gathering treasure. Buying a cup of coffee is not itself a kingdom investment. It is, however, a mindset. What do you value? The grace we have been given should compel us to care for others. A random act, no matter how large or small, is a symbol of what and who we value.
